I am ashamed to be British. The treatment families from the Windrush generation suffer is appalling. I pray they ( and other families) will get the proper support and redress through the Unions.
This poor couple’s treatment is hideous. Hope Unison can help and see their comp claim is paid adequately. Thoroughly disgusted at the way these claims are (not) being handled. What else can we do as members of the public? I know there’s a campaign going. We keep writing letters to MPs, but what else? https://justice4windrush.org/
They are being retraumatised every single time. Some MPs aren’t that interested from my experience

Speaking to Hetticia for this story she says that going through the process retraumatises her but she and her husband are determined to get justice.
