Good afternoon,

Thank you for subscribing to The Source.

Thank you for those who tuned into my first ever YouTube channel. I appreciate every single one of you for pressing play, subscribing, leaving a comment and sharing.

To be honest guys, I’ve been exhausted. Not because of the many plates I’m spinning but because of the heavy news we’ve received that Donald Trump was back in power last week. That isn’t because of any enthusiasm for Kamala Harris but as many of you know, he presents a huge challenge for minorities in a world already dealing with the worst conflicts and humanitarian disasters of our generation.

I work in news so hearing traumatic stories isn’t something new as it comes with the territory and I’m certainly not looking for pity, but I have to say that learning of Trump’s second presidency truly made me want to bury my head in the sand if I’m being completely honest. I tried to express this on Twitter and some people understood where I was coming from, while others…

Social media truly does feel like a fight club where with every sentence you post, you must be prepared for someone to have the worst take on your opinion. It either has to be judged as something good or bad, smart or dumb and you cannot make a simple observation about humanity or feeling or anything at all.

But at least I have this platform to share my thoughts an opinions.

Anyway, I won’t ramble on. Here is the news you shouldn’t have missed this week.

And if you haven’t checked out my YouTube then click the link below:
